Data Storage: All your data, including API keys, chat history, and messages, are stored locally in your browser using Local Storage and IndexedDB. We do not store any data on our backend server.

API Requests: When you send a message, your browser directly communicates with OpenAI API (or other providers like Anthropic) using HTTPS. We do not intercept or store your data during these requests.

External Scripts: There is strictly no external JavaScript running on Prompty.com. Your data remains private and secure within your browser.

How We Handle Your Data for Paid Users

License Information: When you purchase a license key, we store your email address and the license key to verify it and send you updates about new features and versions. This data is stored securely in our database.

License Verification: When you enter your license key to unlock premium features, a request is sent to our License Server to verify the key.

Email Notifications: If you subscribe to updates, we will send you notifications about new versions. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Third-Party Services We Use

Hosting: Our website is hosted on Vercel.com.

Analytics: Vercel Analytics collects anonymous usage data (such as the number of daily visitors).

Error Reporting: We use Sentry for anonymous crash logs and error reports.

Payment Processing: Payments for premium features are processed by LemonSqueezy.com. We do not store your payment information.

For Prompty Cloud Users

Prompty Cloud is an optional service that allows you to sync and back up your chat history. If you choose to use this service, we will store your chats on our server, with encrypted communication. Data shared through Prompty Cloud will be publicly accessible via a secret link but will not be indexed by search engines.

You can disable Prompty Cloud at any time.

Your Rights and Control

You have the right to request access to your data, modify it, or delete it. You can also opt-out of receiving email notifications by following the unsubscribe link provided in any email we send.
